Community and Social Development
Community & Social Development fulfills a unique role within the Municipality of
Sylvan Lake. Through the development of family and community initiatives; and
youth services, we strive to facilitate access to social support opportunities
for all citizens of Sylvan Lake. This basic premise of inclusion leads Community
& Social Development Services to develop programs which are affordable and
accessible for all people.
Services and Partnerships
Community & Social Development Services also endeavours to develop partnerships
with social serving agencies, local businesses, and individuals, in order to
maximize resources in the community. We work with schools, committees, special
interest groups and others to assist in developing high quality preventative
social programs and services planning.
